PITCH An amnesiac desperate to reclaim his memories who did anything to get them back - and wasn't satisfied with the end results. Has the empathy of a rock.

HOOKS Amnesia/memories / magic, the world of spirits / the unknown and unexplained / SCIENCE / discussions of life and death / ethics / feelings, but like from a "wow that's so weird" angle.

SPIRIT AU INFO

APPEARANCE The obvious changes are Zvei's less-human traits: he's completely missing the tentacles and his left eye has white sclera like his right. He doesn't wear a monocle or a labcoat in this AU, instead opting for loose-fitting yukatas when not in uniform. He does still have the tiny pointed ears. Azazel's hair is slightly longer - long enough to pull back into a tiny ponytail, which it usually is. His hair fades from dark purple to a soft, subdued green color. Otherwise he's mostly the same, still standing at 6'0" and painting his nails for some damn reason.

HISTORY Azazel is an amnesiac, and he has more or less made this his defining trait. Apathetic and jaded, he used to be a wanderer who never stayed in one place for very long due to his inability to connect with others or really care about anything at all. He willingly signed a contract with the Witch when offered a chance to regain his memories, and dutifully works for the day she'll grant them to him. Unlike Zvei, he is not a healer or a scientist; he never found his calling in this life and has instead taken to traveling... at least until he settled down in Yokoto.

JOB He serves at the bath house as a guide and attendant to rich patrons, which places him a few ranks above your typical grunt bath house worker. He's not a leader or anything of the sort, so he still sort of blends into the crowd. He's been here a long time - long enough that he's lost count of the years, not long enough to be noteworthy, however.

CRAU INFO

APPEARANCE There aren't any physical changes, so Zvei looks exactly as depicted in his icons.

CRAU Zvei was in Let's Play A Murder, a murdergame wherein he was given the domain of God of Death. While he initially played nice, he was eventually approached by Typhon, the one forcing them to kill each other, to work for him. In return for killing several people, he promised Zvei his missing memories. So Zvei killed and was executed, but did regain his memories. For a time, he tried to be a better person and the person he'd once been, but eventually gave up on that in favor of trying to help just one person - Seymour, his now boyfriend. They struggled a lot to get here and Zvei backslid a ton, but so it goes.

MEMORIES Retaining his memories of his life in Aelios and in LPAM, Zvei also regained the memories of his original life, Ivilezlei, in the murdergame. He'll be able to regain all of these in Yokoto.

PHYSICAL AFFECTION Azazel is a feral cat. He does not like to be touched. He does not want you anywhere near him unless it's on his own terms. So you're free to try, just don't expect it to go well!

SHIPPING Azazel doesn't really care; his emotional issues would make it exceptionally difficult to begin with, anyway. In the interest of full disclosure, his CRAU version is in a committed relationship with Seymour, who is likewise in game. So very unlikely, but I guess we can discuss it if your character truly has 0 taste.

SMUT While Azazel is perfectly fine with it, please see the above answer - let's discuss it!

PHYSICAL VIOLENCE Azazel is perfectly capable of defending himself; he's a skilled fighter with wind magic and will protect himself if need be. He's not the sort to pick fights, but he will end them.

MINDREADING He has no way to block this, but let me know first so I can tell you what nonsense is happening in his head!

MAGICAL INFO Azazel is a spirit - he doesn't read as particularly different or more powerful than your average spirit, though you can likely tell he's wind-aligned. This may have something to do with the fact that he likes to float instead of keep his feet on the ground.

MEDICAL INFO Nothing noteworthy here! Unlike Zvei, his eyesight is a perfect 20/20.

OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS He is extremely touchy about his amnesia and dislikes being pitied about it.
